About FX Trader Journal
A journal template you can copy in one click, and the part most journal advice skips: what to do with the entries once you have a hundred of them.
Why we built this
Almost every trading education source says "keep a journal" and almost none says what to record or how to read it back. A journal of entry prices and screenshots tells you nothing; a journal with the setup name, the planned risk, the actual exit reason and whether the trade followed the rules tells you which of your own behaviours cost money. This site is the template plus the reading method.
Nothing is stored on our side
The template is text you copy to your own spreadsheet or notebook. There is no account, no upload and no sync: your trades never reach us, because there is nowhere here for them to go. The site is static files — the only thing it keeps on your device is whether you prefer light or dark mode.
What we are not
Not a licensed financial services provider, not an adviser, not a broker, and not a journalling app. Nothing here is financial, investment or trading advice. The template is a format; the conclusions you draw from your own filled-in journal are yours.
Our relationship with FxPro
This site earns a referral commission when a visitor opens an account with FxPro through a link here. The commission does not shape the template or the analysis advice: a journal that flattered a broker would be useless to its owner, which is the whole point of keeping one.
